Sonic Moonshine (“we,” “us”) is a cover band based in San Diego, California. These terms cover our SMS text programs. How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Opting in to texts is not required to use this website, send a booking request, or hire the band.

Sonic Moonshine Alerts

If you opt in on this site through a dedicated SMS signup (not the contact form), you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Sonic Moonshine at the mobile number you provide. Alerts may include upcoming shows, schedule changes, and occasional news.

You will receive up to 2 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.

Band member texts

Band members who opt in through the band app may receive operational texts about practices, call times, and show logistics. Message frequency varies with the rehearsal and show calendar. Message and data rates may apply.

How to opt in

Public alerts require a separate, unchecked SMS opt-in. Giving a phone number on the homepage contact form is only so we can reply to that message; it is not consent to join Alerts.

You must be 18 or older and use a US mobile number you own or control.

How to get help or opt out

Reply STOP to cancel. We also honor END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, and QUIT. After you opt out we will send one confirmation text and then stop. Reply HELP for help, or email sonicmoonshinerocks@gmail.com.

Carriers and delivery

Texts are available on most US carriers. Delivery is not guaranteed. We send messages through Twilio. We are not responsible for delayed or undelivered texts, carrier filtering, or your wireless plan.

Privacy

No mobile data will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Twilio processes numbers only to deliver messages and handle replies. Changes

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do.
